-
- No, AMosaic sucks. It crashes all the time, it doesn't handle forms well,
- it's slow and extremely badly done.
-
- Voyager might be good, but how can we tell? It's not OUT yet, and Netscape
- and the like have been on the PC and Mac for a couple of years now.

-
- Every PC owner I know has bought a machine with a soundcard built in, with a
- good sized hard drive, and plenty of RAM. They don't need anything else - the
- machine they bought stays the way it is for a few years until they decide to
- sell it and buy a better one.
-
- >> Face it, PCI is a much faster and compatible bus system that Zorro-III.
-

-
- Okay, it's compatible with the new PowerMacs and PCs. Zorro III is compatible
- with... anyone? Anyone? Only us, that's right.
-
- >> Excuse me? What a load of shit you speak... even W3.1 had memory

-
- > What is memory protection? I still can't define it!
-
- The operating system uses the MMU to stop programs from writing to memory
- addresses they have no business using.. stopping crashes (hopefully!). W3.1
- was pretty bad at this, but it was still a rudimentary system.
-

-
- Try doing serious graphics work. You'll see the need for VM. Besides, hard
- drives will always be cheaper than real RAM, and I only have 17Mb. True, I
- don't run out often, but a real VM (not a PD alternative) would be much less
- stressful to the average professional user.
-
- All that talk about RTG was just that, talk. I've seen no indication that
- Commodore had an implemented RTG system.
-
- There are cheap PCI Ethernet cards available freely. :)

-
- ShapeShifter works perfectly for me, but do you really want to say, "My Amiga
- is great! It emulates a Mac or PC perfectly!" - begging the question, why not
- just buy a Mac/PC?
